OFFICE SURVEYOR - FULL TIME, SAN DIEGO

General Position Description: Full time / San Diego office
The primary responsibility of the Office Surveyor is the design and preparation of all surveying and mapping projects undertaken by SB&O. This will involve the application of mature survey knowledge and techniques in preparation and completion of surveying and mapping projects. Office Surveyor is responsible for preparation of survey calculations, field crew schedules, reports, project estimates, legal descriptions and associated plats/maps.

Education & Professional Experience Requirements:
• AS or BS degree in Land Surveying
• PLS Registration or LSIT with ability to obtain professional license within 6-12 months
• 3 years related experience as a Survey Party Chief
• Proficient in use of Leica equipment and software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel & Outlook
• Proficient in Land Development Desktop 2008 or more recent version; Civil 3D preferred
• California driver's license (must be current and clear of major violations)
