Staff Surveyor and Land Survey Technician

Cinquini and Passarino, Inc is a full service land surveying firm with 60 years of proven stability and reliability providing municipal and private clients with quality surveying services ranging from topographic surveys, boundary surveys, right of way surveys, GPS control networks, GIS, 3D data acquisition and laser scanning, railroad and construction surveys. Focusing specifically on land surveying and related technologies enables CPI to be a leader among land surveying consultants servicing the northern Bay Area.
Our Santa Rosa and Napa, CA offices are in need of motivated a Staff Surveyor and a CAD technician with experience in drafting for land surveying. Being a self-starter, you will work in a dynamic, fast paced environment that will encourage continual development of skills and knowledge base.
Qualifications:
Survey Technician
• Knowledgeable and proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D including knowledge of point styles, surface creation and layer management
• Experience with drafting survey related mapping
• SRJC Civil Engineering, Surveying & Geospatial Technologies certificate or equivalent a plus
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well on a project team and demonstrate good interpersonal skills
• Ability to think in 3D and 3D modeling skills a plus
Staff Surveyor
• The above skill set plus:
• BS Degree in Geomatics/Surveying Engineering is a plus but not mandatory, alternatively four years of any combination of office and field experience.
• Licensed Surveyor in Training (LSIT) with the State of California
• Knowledgeable interpreting legal descriptions, record maps and other documents
• Ability to prepare subdivision mapping, plats and legal descriptions
