Offering Surveying Sevices or simply a misuse of the word?

I am wondering how others feel about this company's use of the word "survey".

The "why use us" pages reads: ..."You stand to lose a lot of time and money with the driller if you use any unlicensed surveyors."..."We highly recommend that you let us survey a property before you purchase it."...

Also look at his pricing page for "surveying".

BTW I had a scan done of my eye and the Drs called it a topo.

At first glance, I don't see any problems with it. It seems pretty clear to me that the services he is offering are for locating underground water, not property lines.

McEdwards, one of the listed principals, appears to be a pre-82 CE as well as a "hydrogeologist", which is another BPELSG licensed discipline.

I don't know whether he knows anything about boundaries, but the service they are advertising seems to be legitimate.

It's interesting that B & B calls its service "locating", and Survey4Water uses the word survey, but not the protected title "land surveying".

I have got phone calls from survey takers ...
