David Evans and Associates (DEA) is currently looking for a Survey Analyst to be part of our team in our Ontario, CA office. The Survey Analyst is responsible for performing technical work in survey control, boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way engineering, and construction surveying services for public and private clients.
Position Duties:
Provide office survey support to the field crews.
Responsible for record mapping, ALTA maps, parcel maps, and topographic surveys.
Prepare maps, record research, and field crew prep.
Work closely with Survey Manager and Project Surveyor.
Perform research, design and calculations for survey and mapping projects using AutoCAD.
Assist with boundary determinations and procedure analysis.
Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits and plats. Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate degree in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering or high school diploma and equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years of survey field and/or office experience and general engineering plan reading skills.
Proficiency in Civil 3D (2015 or newer), Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
PLS or LSIT
Experience with CALTRANS projects
