Full-Time Land Surveyor Position in Petaluma

Steven J. Lafranchi & Associates, Inc., are seeking a self-motivated Professional Land Surveyor to work both collaboratively and independently in a small office of land surveyors, civil engineers and technicians on a wide variety of surveying projects and ancillary engineering services.

The successful candidate will assist in the overseeing of day to day survey operations and in the development of the survey division.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of responsible charge experience in directing and performing all aspects of acquiring, processing, analyzing and compiling data to prepare
deliverables related to boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, GPS, control, lot line adjustment and FEMA elevation certificate surveys
• Solid survey-related mathematical and research skills
• AutoCAD Land Desktop & MS Office Suite proficiency, AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus
• Diverse working knowledge of conventional and robotic field equipment and data collection and processing software (Leica TS12, with CS15 and
Carlson SurvCE software, C10 Scanner & Cloudworx/Cyclone software; Topcon Hiper V, FC-5000 & Magnet software, any or all a plus)
• Varied construction staking experience
• Laser Scanning field and office software experience a plus
• Applicant must have some experience in ALTA/ACSM surveys, lot line adjustments and easement acquisitions, submittal of documents, other office
surveying tasks and field related tasks.

Candidate must be familiar with federal, state and local laws and requirements pertaining to surveying.

Must be certified as a State of California Professional Land Surveyor and possess a valid California driver's license in good standing.
