It's all downhill from here...

Post by Dave Karoly, PLS »

We gave our 3 year old Grandson a Lego Duplo block starter train set for his birthday.

It is pretty cool, I've had many hours of fun playing with that thing (it stays at our house).

It came with a small circle of track, some bricks, an electric locomotive, and one car. So I look it up on Amazon (wife bought it) and there's an accessory kit with more track, more bricks and other stuff including track switches.

So I say to his Grandmother, I want that for my birthday. She took me seriously and it's on its way. So I'm getting toddler toys for my birthday!

Can't wait until we get to get the regular Lego sets. That will be loads of fun.

Just wait until you get to the lego sets with the working engines that run off a 9 volt battery. They were for my son, I swear!

I'm looking forward to the opportunity to waste all my discretionary budget on toys for my grandkids someday.

I got my grandson into RC cars. We now have10 cars in various states of repair and a huge monthly parts budget. And yes...its worth every penny!
