Surveyor III - Orange County Public Works

OC Survey has several opportunities for Surveyor III in their Office and Field Service Areas. The Surveyor III position will be located in either the Survey Field or Office sections. The most immediate vacancy is in our Map Checking area.

The incumbent will act in a lead capacity and will be performing the more complex surveying tasks including map preparation, boundary analysis, researching historical and official records, and providing resolution to boundary issues and discrepancies.

• Possession of a valid LAND SURVEYOR IN TRAINING (LSIT) or ENGINEER IN TRAINING (EIT) certificate issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists is required.
