Recent events have confirmed why I enjoy being a part of the Surveying community. The passing of Marc triggered many things that many of us have as personal qualities as people. As I wrote of Marc, he was always a phone call away if there was some big thing that was affecting my personal life, usually a big fire, as some as the news announced Mariposa and evacuate, Marc would reach out. But it wasn't just one, it would be several.

To all those that have contracted me in the past month to check on my family and I and your generous offers to help, it still amazes me that I know such a fine group of people.

This time, I was inconviniced, but had no losses, there has been a dastic impact on the entire County which will last for quite awhile, but knowing the support group out there, is a warm and fuzzy place.
