Blast from the Past

Post by mpallamary »

I joined the local chapter in 1979 and when I was licensed in 1980, I became a corporate member of CLSA. 40 years of memories and work.

Congratulations, Michael. I'm reminded that we gained our licenses on the same year. Thanks for your contributions!

Congrats, Michael. I, too, gained my license in the same year. Unfortunately, I didn't join CLSA until 1986.

Congrats Mike, I was just thinking in January when it hit me that I started in surveying 30 years ago, granted I was still in high school. I personal can not think of a better profession to get into.

During a ALTA survey in Pasadena the client/project mgr recently told me how many years (29) he had been involved in his profession- I countered with 50.5 (38 licensed), and was instantly reminded of the the party chief and rod man standing thigh deep in a swamp and the PC stating "It took me 25years to get to where I am today". I was standing in the middle of an intersection wondering if my life insurance was paid up. LOL
