Construction site equipment safety
I am told that there was no ditch there when we set up the instrument. Our control point was up on a pad essentially in the wilderness as far as the crew thought.

I would definitely be having words with someone running a ditch witch.
Very early in my career I was told that if I was ever lost to just drive a hub in the ground and a lath next to it. Then sit and wait for one of the contractors men to drive over it and ask for a ride.
