Looking for an old RCE number

I was wondering if anyone had a searchable list of old RCEs? I am looking for the RCE number of a certain George S. Abbott, who was also LS 2297. I would guess he got his RCE in the 1910-1920's range, but I am not certain.

CE licenses didn't exist in 1910-1920's. CE 3748 according to numerical list on BPELSG web site.

Edit: (kind of a Did You Know thing) LS 2297 would had been one of the first LS licenses issued by the "Civil Engineers Board" after assuming licensing responsibilities from the former land surveyor board in early 1930's. One of the "If you send in your application and $5 within the next 12 months, you too can be licensed to practice land surveying" licenses that were granted by the "Civil Engineers Board" back then.

This particular gentleman let his CE lapse in the great depression, and then picked up a LS as he was doing survey work in his retirement (in 1933 he was 58).

I see that a George S. Abbott was assigned C.E.#3748. Civil Engineers started Licensing in December of 1929.
G.S. Abbott was given L.S.#2297. I know that L.S.#2146 was issued n 1930 (Chaining The Land By Bud Uzes). So it is possible that George did git his L.S. in 1930 or 1931.
As far as what year he received his R.E. I have not been able to find any date of issuance.

For more information about Mr. Abbott check out Dick Hogan's article in the #133 issue of the CalSurveyor.

Dennis Morelli, who worked for Abbott also wrote a software program for celestial/solar observations. GREAT easy to use program. But the ephemeris lasted only a few years . . . and Dennis never updated it. Abbott is more "retrace-able" because he took a polaris on most of his surveys.
