I filled out their silly form with way too much Personal Data considering it is a insecure website, but was denied, I don't have a cellphone.
(rather there is no facility to use a cellphone number from overseas)
No facility to respond to the original email.
-------------------------------
Their total ineptness is probably an unimportant point, but it needs to be said.
so, should I just consider this more SPAM and ignore?

Re: New Release to BPELSG Connect
Why not just email or call using the instructions shown on the login page?
https://connect.bpelsg.ca.gov/#/
Wouldn't that be a way for you to obtain assistance with your problem?
Edit: with no cell, just enter a valid landline number and choose to opt out of receiving text messages. That will solve that.

Re: New Release to BPELSG Connect
Login?
I don't have an account, so I went directly to the "create a new account" and there was no email or phone number presented ...
When it failed I tried again.
At that point I was feeling that I was being pawned so I backed out having regretted not using common sense:
*as we are all constantly cautioned Never:
1. click on a link in an email (spoofing)
2. enter Personal Data that the supposed recipient already has
3. enter fake data
====
thanks for your reply.
Peter
BTW: You don't need my land line numbers, so I will not give them to you.

All DCA systems were offline last night for scheduled maintenance. Its my understanding that not all are back online yet, including Connect. Once its back up, choose 'forgot password' on login page for the temporary password email to be resent.Jim Frame wrote:I tried to sign up, but never got the email with the temp password.
