Find a Surveyor - Home Page

Post by PLS7393 »

It was brought to my attention that this function is not as good as I thought. Typing only the first three numbers does some no justice.
The program does not use a radius, but only searches those with the same first three digits in the requested zip code.
940, 950, 951 may be right across the street from one another, yet the search will not list surveyors minutes away.

Lucky for me, there are 50 listed surveyors with 945 for the first three digits of my zip code when I pass on a job, lol.
I'm sure there are programs to search using the full five digit zip code request, as it should be.

Not fair for some who pay their dues!!!

Keith,

We have a new charge for the Outreach committee to upgrade this function. You're not the first to encounter it.

Another option would be for members to select the zip codes or counties they practice in.

Search by county would be too easy, and would only expand the list, lol.
