Surveying Mentor/Tutor Needed

Post by surveyor3 »

I'm a surveying student and am in need of extra help with solving computations. I recently switched surveying programs. My previous surveying program did not adequately prepare me for some of my upcoming surveying classes come the Fall, so I need extra help this summer preparing. I can afford to pay up to $25/hr for tutoring. I live in the Bay Area, but it doesn't have to be a local surveyor. I have a Zoom account and worse case, we can work together remotely. To get started here are some of the problems I need help with:

1. Bearing 1 to 2 is S 80°56'09" E. Angle 1-2-3 is 205°40'51". What is bearing 3 to 2?

2. Bearing 1 to 2 is S 80°56'09" E. Angle 3-2-1 is 205°40'51". What is bearing 3 to 2?

3. Bearing 1 to 2 is S 08°15'50" W. Bearing 3 to 2 is S 80°56'09" E. What is angle 1-2-3?

4. Bearing 1 to 2 is N 08°15'50" W. Bearing 2 to 3 is S 80°56'09" E. What is angle 3-2-1?

Thanks!

Hello surveyor3,
I may be able to help you occasionally. I am retired and moved to Oregon. If you like, we can discuss what your situation is? email me, or call.

Are those angles AT-FROM-TO, FROM-TO-AT,,FROM-AT-TO? And are they all to the right (as a check)?

I would contact your local CLSA Chapter. Attend a meeting (live or zoom) get your name out there, and show your face.
