I cleared my experience with NCEES and have been approved to take the two-hour state specific exam to get my PLS license in Nevada. I received my Civil Engineering license in Nevada already. I am currently dual licensed in California (Civil 1984) and (Land Surveying 2008).
I have been reviewing the materials recommended by the Nevada Board. Are there any other references that those of you licensed in CA and NV found useful in your preparation? I appreciate any feedback.
Mining law and Water rights/law are the two areas my California work experience (Los Angeles -Ventura County) did not get into.

I would recommend talking to Trent Keenan about that. you can find him on LinkedIn and Facebook. He is one of the surveyors who is very involved in Nevada organizations.

Re: Nevada PLS Exam Preparation
I took the NV PLS exam in 2019 and reviewed the NV Board supplied materials morning of and passed no problem. Everything you need to know is in those materials.
