Reserch for surveyor map archive

Hi All

We are researching an area in non incorporate County of Marin that is called Almonte, Mill Valley.
We know that the area was originally survived by "Philbrook's surveyors" for TL&WC (Tamalpais Land & Water Co.).

There were other surveyors involved, but the specific area we are looking into was most likely sub divided in to lots by Philbrook's surveyors
However, the original subdivision of the blocks, roads lanes and paper roads, could've been done by Michael O’Shaughnessy.

When the area with subdivided to the blocks, roads, paper roads, and lanes it was owned by TL&WC.
When it was subdivided to lots it was already owned by Northwest Realty Co.
What we do know is that when TL&WC sold it to Northwest Realty Co. It's sold it, including the roads, paper roads and lanes.

We do not know where to find original subdivision archive maps and paperwork and looking for any breadcrumbs of a direction to the original subdivision maps and associated documents.

I did some extensive research and retracement in this subdivision last year. I suggest that you start with a call to Tracy Park, county surveyor. He should be able to steer you towards the resources you are seeking if they exist. Good luck!

Thanks David, will reach out to Tracy and see if he can help. If you have done some work in this area did you ever find original docs from TL&WC or Marin County and / or Northwest Realty Co. regarding road surfacing or Road surveying?
