Looking for info on AB 3638 from 1984...

Looking for any information on the bill introduced in Sacramento in 1983 proposing an amendment to PLS Act §8765.

According to a California Surveyor Letter to the Editor from Douglas L. Dean, LS 3726, it was AB 3638. “In 1983 the legislature passed AB 3638 which, if it had not been vetoed by the Governor, would have inserted wording in 8765 permitting original monuments to be set or (reset) and recorded by filing a corner record”.

Unfortunately, 1983- AB 3638 was a Bill to amend §1253.3 of the Unemployment Insurance Code. Various combinations of 3638 did not yield any bill vetoed by Governor Deukmejian.

Do any of the “seasoned” crowd remember that bill and might point me in the right direction, please?
