Anyone following CA SB 684?

Sounds similar to SB9 but for multi family and up to 10 units.
This one may actually drive work for us in a way SB 9 didn't (at least in my area). I don't think there's tons of homeowners out there that want to split their lots. But I'd wager there are more multifamily home owners that would want to subdivide as they are already investors.

My understanding is it takes effect July 1.
Will be interesting to see how it goes. Our local county is still treating the final map portion of SB9 like any other final parcel map, and I expect the same here.
EDIT: I think it should drive some work for local surveyors. The SB9 has a bit, one of our local guys has become the go-to, I think the architects are all passing his name along. Like I said, not a ton here but some.
