A recent post on this forum and some conversation with other inspired surveyors spurred me to create a form that can be filled out in the hope that we can preserve some of the knowledge and history experienced surveyors may have.
I know many of you (statistically) are nearing retirement, or have retired already. I am beginning my quest to collect (and eventually compile and provide free to surveyors) information on those surveyors who have come before me. I wish to follow in the footsteps of my professional elders, and the information that you can provide is hugely valuable. Do you know of a surveyor who worked on some very cool projects? Do you know of a period of years in which a Surveyor's maps were slightly suspicious in their nature? Please share. Want to provide some information about your own practice? Great! I will be very careful in providing the information received in ways that serve other surveyors and I do not intend to disparage anyones practice. I am interested to hear how you all think I should use and provide others with this information. I am currently planning on collecting information from CLSA chapters and more. The link to fill out the form is here on my site, and hopefully functional:

Thank you all for what you provide for the betterment of our profession!
