About Us: Oberkamper & Associates is an established land surveying and civil engineering firm based in Marin County. We have provided land surveying and civil engineering services to north bay residents, public agencies, construction companies and private developers for over 60 years.

Job Description: We are seeking a California licensed Professional Land Surveyor to join our office team as Survey Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in boundary and topographic surveys, Record Map and Corner Record preparation, legal description writing, construction staking and some exposure to public works project surveying. This role is primarily a full time office position with occasional field work.

Responsibilities:
• Client contact and preparation of fee estimates and proposals for survey jobs
• Boundary resolution and preparation of Records of Surveys, Parcel Maps and Corner Records
• Processing topographic field data and preparing topographic maps
• Preparing and reviewing survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions
• Collaborating with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure project requirements are met
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior surveyors and technicians

Qualifications:
• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the state of California
• Experience in managing projects from proposal and contract preparation through deliverables
• Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center)
• Strong understanding of boundary and topographic surveying principles
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Benefits:
