Can somebody post the email address for the County Surveyor's Office?
Navigating the DPW website is proving to be quite a labyrinth....

There is a signatory for RSs and CRs, and one for parcel and final maps. It's historically broken down into Development and Survey divisions.

Re: Los Angeles County
I have a few deed references by book and page, but apparently this info is not enough to retrieve the docs through the Recorder's Office.
Is there another way to retrieve old deeds in LA County?

Re: Los Angeles County
I have an old CSB map that references:
D.O.R. 2918-26, and
D.O.R. 3474-184
Also, a reference to R.F. 151
What to these mean?

Ah yes, LA County ...
I'm guessing DORs are Documents of Record (OR).
RF - who knows, but with the low number, it may be a field book or unfiled reference.

Re: Los Angeles County
For anyone interested, RF stands for Recorder's Filed Maps. These are available online through the County's Land Records Website. There is a specific tab for them.
