Easement Quitclaim process - City of Los Angeles
I have several early 1900's utility easements that have been passed onto the City of Los Angeles in the 1930's that my client wishes to have quitclaimed/extinguished. I have left two voice mail messages over the last two weeks with the street vacation section without any return call. Does anyone have knowledge of the process that can provide me with contact information for easement quitclaims in the City of Los Angeles?

Time
Most agencies this time of year are either closed or super busy trying to get Subdivision maps recorded before the end of the year. As a result they may be putting your issue on the back-burner simply because they know it will be a lengthy process and won't need to get resolved by the end of this year. Once you get past the 1st, you may get a phone call.
