Carpool to Fresno from Sacramento?

Post by Rob_LS »

Anyone heading to Fresno from Sacramento early Thursday, returning after the Awards banquet Friday? There are a couple of us hoping to catch a ride.

I'm riding down tomorrow after work and returning Friday evening. If you bring a helmet and pack light on Wednesday afternoon, I can help you. otherwise, see you there.

If that happens, I'll take time off and film it. Evan and Rob rolling down the highway. That would be good for a few laughs. Just the thought of you two on a bike brings tears to my eyes.

Sounds like you would need a side car for Rob's others also. Now that would be a picture I would pay to see.

But be careful, morning fog has been NASTY, develops around 7-8pm depending on location, clears around 9 or 10am

Yeah, at a combined 500+ lbs, plus gear, the bike would be a little beyond maxxed out. But it could be done!

Let me tell you about the inadvertent wheelie I did when I had a 320 lb passenger... sometime over a beer.
