Those were common in Bakersfield but I don't remember them including a year.

I have seen the WPA stamps on the curb on T Street in East Sacramento.

There are some Teichert stamps in the sidewalk in downtown Sacramento dated after 1945.

There's at least one 1911 stamp and some 1930's WPA stamps in downtown Davis, and a bunch of postwar Teichert stamps in newer parts of the central city. Every time I walk past the 1911 one, I wonder what became of the guys who laid the sidewalk, and what it was like to live here then. They're all long gone now, whoever they were.
