Aerial Photos - Marin County
I'm looking for aerial photos of Highway One along the shore of Tomales Bay.
Ideally mid 1960s and mid 1970s.
Any input would be great.
Cheers.

Historic Aerials can be found at....
http://www.historicaerials.com/
You look up aerials for most of the US, and they can have multiple years (hence the historic part of their name) for the same area too. (I just looked, and they only have 2005 - sorry)
Its also neat to look-up where you live(d) and see the changes over the years..

Google earth has historical aerials too.
Defund govt
To fully fund govt first the national debt would have to be paid. The US Govt is $18 TRILLION in debt, using 350 million people in the USA it would require $51,000 from every man, woman and child to pay it off. And that's just the Federal debt. Did you write your check yet?

I have one set of photos from 1976 of the whole county, but your best bet is Caltrans if you are along the highway that existed in that time frame. They have inventory aerial photographs of all of the highways taken every 10 years, I believe. My photos are 1†= 1,000’.
The County of Marin also had inventory photos taken every 10 years. It has been 20 years since I looked at them. Hopefully, they did not throw them out with all of the unrecorded maps they used to have.
I attached the area near the town of Tomales, taken from my phone to give you an idea, since I had the book of photos in my office for another project.

I'd have to agree with Larry - Caltrans HQ Office of Photogrammetry (OoP) is the definitive source of aierial imagery information for Caltrans routes:

Let's not forget the State Lands Commission. Thanks Evan.
Dylan Gonsalves gave me a nice lead as well: earthexplorer.usgs.gov
If I could only find a set from about 1965. Perhaps Caltrans or perhaps SLC. The search continues.
Oh, and have a look at the attached photo. A little piece of forensic genius (that we all know of). Overlaying paper printouts of aerials and then raising them up into the sunlight.
Cheers.
