Diversified Project Services International Inc. (DPSI) is a leader in project engineering, geomatics (surveying), planning, permitting, inspection, energy management and construction management. We serve clients in the petroleum, chemical and power industries as well as commercial and residential development, energy, public agencies, schools and agriculture.
DPSI is actively seeking a full-time SURVEY TECHNICIAN position for our Bakersfield office. This position must possess over 4 years’ experience and good communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
• Communicate directly with project managers for estimating and creating project scopes and proposals
• Provide leadership and mentoring to field staff members
• Complete topographic surveys with little to no direction
• Prepare field calculations for construction projects
• Prepare volume calculations
• Boundary resolution and preparation of legal descriptions
Requirements:
• Land Surveyor-in-Training Certification is preferred
• Background in the Oil & Gas Industry
• Competent in Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Must have 4+ years’ experience as a Survey Technician
