Books: References & Interest

I stumbled across the following:

"A Treatise on the Law of Easements: In Continuation of the Author's Treatise on the Law of Real Property" -- Leonard Augustus Jones

Does anybody have this in their library?

Secondly, I by accident acquired a copy of "Land in California: The Story of Mission Lands, Ranchos, Squatters, Mining Claims, Railroad Grants, Land Scrip, Homesteads", by William Wilcox Robinson.

I found myself enthralled by its content. I recommend it.

So, what of professional relevance are you reading out there?

I have the Robinson book. It's very good. I found it in a used bookstore in Hyannis, MA. Mine has a yellow soft cover. I wasn't looking for it, I just spotted it when browsing. I highly recommend.

I found a copy of Skelton in a used bookstore in Placerville but they wanted $140. If I really need it I can check it out from the State law library.

I used the money I had for Skelton to buy a 10" DeWalt 80 tooth super fine blade for my table saw and a Bostitch brad gun. I just acquired a Makita 12" sliding compound miter saw :-D YEAH BABY but now I have to get back to my project, a custom base cabinet to fill a gap between range and wall.

I bought that de Walt saw about 10 years ago - great saw. I lived with just a rockwell table saw for years.
Funny my wife is asking for the same cabinet for cookie sheets and such.
We picked up a 3 nail gun set at Costco a few years ago, miss priced by $50 thank you. Never realized how great nail guns can be.

This cabinet is going to have a regular drawer on top and a deep skinny drawer on the bottom so cookie sheets can be put in from the top. It's about 11" wide.

I have just under 8" width so mine will just be a cabinet.
I do have some jogs on the exiting cabinet side that will require some thought.

I'm reading George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series (A Game of Thrones is book 1) right now.

This book was recommended by a GGNRA GIS expert, (Stephen S.), that was in my GPS class.

A biography 'bout a BLM surveyor. (1970s+/-) Fun read. Subject matter is all over the place like a Pichinko game. The author is an interesting guy to say the least . . . and very discriptive writing.
