Proposed Revision to Definition of "Waters of the US"

Post by LS_8750 »

The US Environmental Protection Agency is seeking to expand the definition of "Waters of the US." How might this affect the land surveying community in California?

Here is a link to EPA's site:

Also, here is a link to a brief commentary provided by the Pacific Legal Foundation back in late 2013.

Hydraulic "connectivity" is a dangerous concept to meddle with. It won't be long before subatomic physicists get involved in that one, which won't solve anything.

How it will affect ownership and use of water rights will be the big thing. The director of the EPA should be removed, charged, tried and jailed for even thinking about this move and the whole department should disappear.

This is THEFT AND FRAUD on a gargantuan scale.

Politicians should serve two terms. One in office and one in prison.
