[font=&quot]Primary Job Responsibilities[/font]
[font=&quot]Surveying Manager is responsible for managing Survey related services for various types of projects.[/font]
[font=&quot]They will function as a team lead for survey related projects including acting as the liaison to internal[/font]
[font=&quot]departments as needed. They will provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs[/font]
[font=&quot]of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management[/font]
[font=&quot]techniques.[/font]
[font=&quot] [/font]
[font=&quot]Duties include:[/font]
·[font=&quot]Management of our in-house Survey Department.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Oversee preparation of subdivision maps, boundary/procedure of surveys and easements.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Review, verify and approve survey computations for technical accuracy and quality control.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Prepares and/or reviews proposals, budgets and invoices.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Plan, direct and supervise various aspects of surveying to include planning field work, overseeing[/font]
[font=&quot]and reviewing office work, and other related activities.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Assesses project requirements, while developing and recommending a sound approach or[/font]
[font=&quot]application to meet the needs of the project and client.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Identify Survey market opportunities and procure Clients[/font]
·[font=&quot]Ensures that project deliverables satisfy project requirements.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Takes a leadership role in developing and executing field and office safety procedures.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Participates in corporate initiatives to assist in meeting the company’s goals.[/font]

[font=&quot]Specific Required Skills:[/font]
·[font=&quot]Must be a California Professional Licensed Land Surveyor PLS[/font]
·[font=&quot]Minimum of 5 years as a Survey Manager is preferred[/font]
[font=&quot]Strong Construction and Mapping supervision experience on subdivisions, public works and in-fill development projects.[/font]
·[font=&quot]Current knowledge of public agency codes, processes and requirements[/font]
·[font=&quot]Thorough knowledge of project scope and fee development and management[/font]
·[font=&quot]Ability to utilize computer systems as a tool to effectively manage projects[/font]
·[font=&quot]Must have extensive knowledge with Trimble field equipment and Trimble office software[/font][font=&quot] [/font]
[font=&quot]Must have developed the following skills; leadership, oral and written communication, planning, team work, decision making, judgment and problem solving[/font]
