NGS soon posting Regional Geodetic Advisor position

I have heard that NGS is days to weeks away from having OPM post two Regional Geodetic Advisor positions, one based in California and one in Alaska. Because it's not open yet, I didn't make an entry in the Employment Hotline page in this Forum.

Keyword: Geodesy, Location: California

You will need to have or establish a USAJOBS account and complete your application/resume online. You can also develop and save a search which will notify you via email when a job meeting your criteria is posted. I hear that the posting will be open for 2 weeks, so I'd advise starting to build your online resume sooner than later.

On a personal note: Yesterday was my "re-birthday" 11 years ago, when I survived the motorcycle crash. I'm enjoying retirement and while I miss you folks, I don't regret my decision! I'm doing a lot of outdoor stuff, and trying to organize all the stuff I've accumulated in 20 years in my house.

Great to hear from you! And even better to hear you're enjoying retirement. Organizing all that stuff doesn't sound like any fun though... I guess when that gets old, that's when you head outdoors.
