Harold Davis LS 3352

Post by BrianSpore »

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I inform you all of the passing of my friend and mentor Harold Davis, LS 3352. Hal passed away Wednesday July 2nd at home; he had been fighting cancer for a little over a year. There will be a memorial service, but I don’t know when yet, as his daughter said, it won’t be super soon.

Sorry to hear this. I met Hal many years ago at a San Mateo/Santa Clara Chapter meeting. He was very dedicated to the profession.

Real sorry to hear about Hal, he was one of a kind, a true icon, a mentor. His unmatched knowledge of Roberts Rules of Order was amazing. He was always available to sit and chat about everything and anything. He will be truly missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

It is truly a small world as many of us have been touched by Hal in one form or another, took a few moments to sit and reflect and all the memories of Hal were good. What more can we ask for when move on? Our hearts are with the family.

Hal Davis was a familiar face at CLSA events and Board meetings for many years. He was a good friend and always willing to discuss ways to move land surveying forward. He will be missed by many. Barbe and I send our condolences to his family.
