California Surveying & Drafting Supply (CSDS), an authorized distribution partner for Trimble, Spectra Precision and FARO is seeking an experienced, driven sales representative to oversee sales in the greater Sacramento area and San Joaquin County. This position will be based out of our headquarters in Sacramento, California.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual selected for this position will be responsible for:
• Actively seeking leads and sales opportunities
• Identifying and developing key vertical markets in the territory
• Interfacing and developing strong relationshships with key end users
• Sales to end users of land surveying hardware and software solutions
• Meeting or exceeding annual sales targets in the assigned region
• Complex technical sales presentations
• Explaining ROI and clear financial benefits of our surveying portfolio
• Attending trade shows and industry events
• Traveling extensively in the territory to ensure close customer contact
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Knowledge of land surveying / engineering / laser scanning / photogrammetry / aerial / land mobile and other Geospatial technologies highly desired but not mandatory
• Direct sales skills - track record of success
• Solution selling with strong ability to communicate ROI
• Business planning
• Presentation skills / speaking ability - to drive new technologies
• University degree in a related field (land surveying, civil engineering, geography, and/or business, finance, economics) and 2-5+ years of field experience with sales in the GIS, civil engineering, land surveying, aerial mapping, infrastructure or construction fields
COMPENSATION:
Compensation will be commensurate on experience and education. This is a mid-level position but we will consider the experience of all applicants. Health insurance, 401K Profit Sharing and paid vacation are included in the benefits package.
