
The Survey Engineering Technician II will support the County Surveyor's Division of the Transportation Department. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing, interpreting and preparing legal property maps and descriptions, and will also be tasked to review and evaluate various land development applications such as Lot Line Adjustments, Mergers and subdivisions. Additionally, the Survey Engineering Technician II will support a field survey crew on a variety of construction, preliminary and boundary survey projects, operating an assortment of survey instruments and programs. The Division desires candidates with knowledge of the land development and land surveying process, and experience performing survey and property record research. Candidates in possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) or an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) are highly desired.
