Position Summary
Siegfried has an immediate opening for a Land Surveying Department Manager opperating out of our Stockton office. In general, the duties of this position include the management, mentoring, and training of survey staff, management of projects, the production of maps and related survey products and field surveying when necessary, and tracking and reccommending equipment upgrades and purchases.
Qualifications
Licensure
• California Licensed Land Surveyor
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Office experience in preparing and supervising the preparation of survey work products including but not limited to boundary, topographic, parcel and subdivision maps, ALTA Surveys and Record of Surveys
• Field experience in performing the surveys listed above
• An ability to professionally communicate with clients, technical staff and management
• Experience using Leica Robotic Total Station and GPS equipment and software is desirable
• Experience with RTKMAX or other regional GPS networks is desirable
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying is preferred
Experience:
• A minimum of 15 years of land surveying experience including both office and field work
