Land Use Case
Not really surveying, but I'm betting many will find this recent published appellate decision interesting. I usually leave interpretation of cases to the reader, but in this instance I offer that the case involves farm and ranch diversions of water for irrigation being deemed by the court as being subject to Cal Fish and Wildlife's 1602 process.

Water issues are surveyor issues, because waterways or watercourses (look it up in the Water Code) generally have boundaries - and we are experts at boundaries - right?
