Quincy Engineering is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor licensed in the State of California with a minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility to support transportation improvement projects. Duties will include:
• Preparing topographical mapping for use in the design of transportation improvement projects utilizing ground surveys or aerially generated surveys with ground control.
• Performing property boundary surveys to accurately identify all land rights within the limits of various projects.
• Preparing right of way plats and legal descriptions for land acquisition and easements.
• Performing construction staking at construction sites.
• Assisting with establishing and maintaining surveying standards and procedures.
• Leading a survey crew.
Candidate must have:
• Professional Land Surveyor license in California or the ability to obtain one within a period of 6 months.
• Excellent communication skills with both internal staff and the public.
• Capability to lead others in the delivery of survey products.
• Ability to work on a variety of projects with competing due dates.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Bentley InRoads.
Caltrans surveying and mapping experience is a plus.
