Description:
Psomas is looking for a Project Surveyor to support the field surveying, mapping, and document deliverables for agency submittals to work in our clients San Ramon, CA office.
Duties:
Organizing and coordinating projects which include a broad range of assignments requiring knowledge of surveying/mapping. Use of various databases in process field data. Maintain and manage Field Survey Data systems together with local and wide network operating systems. Support team by completing technical mapping and final drawings for agency submittals and specifications for approval. Research and analysis, title reports, ROW/E, topography, and mapping. Perform survey calculations, analysis, and field support calculations. Knowledge of common boundary establishment methods and analysis.
Qualifications:
Must have 7+ years of experience in all phases of surveying, have public mapping experience (record of survey maps, legal description and exhibits, etc.)
Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office, and a strong drafting background. Because of the nature of our projects, proficiency in Microstation and Inroads are a plus but not mandatory. Must be a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in California.
