Land Survey Technician

F3 & Associates is seeking to hire a full and/or part time technician in the San Francisco Bay Area, at our main office in Benicia, CA. The technician will be qualified to assist in 2D/3D modeling and 2D/3D drafting of industrial, residential, and civil applications. The technician will be a member of a dynamic team of engineers, surveyors, and support staff.
Skills:
Highly skilled in project execution.
Organized with good communication and writing skills, including developing technical surveying reports.
Good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize tasks.
Understanding of surveying concepts and methods a plus.
Solid computer skills in the operation and functioning of key programs used by the organization, i.e., Autodesk AutoCAD, Word, Excel.
Responsibilities:
Ability to meet deadlines.
Demonstrates a proactive commitment to increase overall job/industry knowledge.
Prepares and develops 2D or 3D CAD drawings.
Understand and visualize surveying concepts and translate concepts to drawings.
The selected candidate will perform assignments under the direction of project managers and be expected to comply with F3's policies pertaining to quality management.
