OFFICE SURVEY TECHNICIAN
Coast Surveying, Inc. is looking for a SURVEY TECHNICIAN for our Tustin office.
Why would you want to work at Coast? Following are ten possible reasons why:
First and foremost, SURVEYING IS OUR ONLY BUSINESS!!!
Second, we’ve been in business since 1981. That’s 35 years in Southern California, one of the most competitive surveying markets around.
Third, our employees average over 15 years of experience with Coast.
Fourth, we are very good at what we do. About 90%-95% of our work comes from repeat clients.
Fifth, we have fun and enjoy what we’re doing, and it shows.
Sixth, we’re small, about 20 people, so you would get a wide variety of work.
Seventh, we currently have six Professional Land Surveyors on staff with many years of experience. Learn from the best!
Eighth, we are transportation and infrastructure specialists. Most of our work is for governmental agencies, either as a Prime or as a Subconsultant.
Ninth, as a DBE firm, we are extremely well positioned to get a significant portion of the many billions of dollars of transportation work that will be coming out throughout California in the next 10-20 years.
Tenth, Coast offers competitive salaries, benefits, and 401k contributions.
Some of the Types of Work Performed at Coast:
Survey Research, Utility Research, Photo Control, Aerial Mapping, Design Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Right of Way Delineation, Right of Way Mapping, Centerline Surveys, Centerline Ties, Record of Surveys, Corner Records, Legal Descriptions and Sketches, Exhibit Maps, Subdivision Maps, Final Subdivision Map Checking, Construction Management Check Surveys, Construction Staking, and Horizontal & Vertical Control.

Ruel,
I suspect that the vast majority of the views are those of us checking in to see if you have posted about receiving a viable application.

1688 views, two resumes
One we hired as an apprentice in the field.
The other wasn't sure what they wanted to do with their life.
This does not bode well for our profession in the future.

2027 views after 140 days (20 weeks) since original post.
That's one view every 4 minutes,
or 14.5 views per day,
or 101 views per week.
At this rate, we'll be over 5,200 by April 7, 2017, a whole year in!

I feel for you. It's like this everywhere, at the moment.
I have to admit that I check in on this thread whenever I see that there's been a new post. And, I suspect that many others do, too.
Just know that we're pulling for you.
