Position Description:
Qualified candidates for the position of Survey Technician/Draftsperson will work under the supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor in the preparation of mapping documents and exhibits. Additionally, this position will assist with survey research, processing of survey field crew data, and provide office support to field survey crews.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate a strong knowledge of land surveying principles and practice, have drafting experience, possess strong organizational skills, and have strong verbal and written communication skills. AutoCAD proficiency is required.

Projects include very large scale municipal projects (High-Speed Rail), large scale master planned land development projects, 3D laser scanning, high precision monitoring, on-call surveying for municipalities, small residential and commercial developments, and expert witness. Compensation:
Compensation for the position is based on education, knowledge, skills, attitude, and experience.

Location:
This position will be staffed from our Modesto, Fresno, or Pleasanton offices.
