More monument destruction
More monuments will be destroyed. CLSA should get involved in this effort and make sure there is enough money set aside to preserve survey monuments. This politically fueled campaign is going to do more damage than anything else. Does anyone care?

If you read the budget analysis on this there is no mention of the taxes they already receive from gas/vehicle taxes and the gas tax was doubled just a few years ago.
I have to wonder, since moonbeam renamed Cal Div of Hwys to CalTrans during his term in the 70s to use vehicle taxes for ANY form of transportation from bus lanes to walking paths, how much of our vehicle taxes are being redirected to pensions, the moonbeam express to nowhere and Feinstein's husbands pocket.
