Here are the job descriptions:

LAND SURVEYOR / PARTY CHIEF
This position will be in charge of operating survey equipment on projects in commercial construction and industrial environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of field notes, layout coordination and calculation sheets.
Manage survey crews and projects.
Ability to perform survey field work, and work outside in all weather conditions.
Coordinate findings of work with construction and engineering personnel, and others concerned with a project.
Brief project managers on projects as they are being completed.

Experience:

Three years minimum of field surveying including topography and construction staking. 3D laser scanning experience is a plus.
Familiar with relevant equipment such as Trimble Robotic Total Station, digital and conventional levels, Leica 3D scanners, and related software applications.
Use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D for mapping desirable but not required.
Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certification is a plus.

OFFICE LAND SURVEYOR TECHNICAN
Working primarily in the office, this position assists various F3 project managers and land surveyors on construction staking and topographic survey projects by preparing and maintaining field notes, maps, drawing and other survey documents.

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform office calculations for layout staking and prepare exhibits.
Compile topographic information, compute and develop digital terrain models for topographic models.
Perform quality checks on all assignments.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required. The candidate must be proficient and productive in utilizing the software without additional training.
Ability to read construction drawings.
