Gaps and Intent Video Presentation - Fresno Geomatics Conference

Post by bryanmundia »

The Orange County Chapter of CLSA, a practice based chapter, paid to have the discussion of closing gaps at Fresno State University in January 2020 professionally taped and edited.

Initially, the chapter was going to have a pay wall, but with folks having varying work situations (and possibly a little time to spare). The video has been posted for free. Below are the links for the two parts of the video.

A special thank you to Evan Page for his contributions.

Sincerely,

Many thanks to the OC chapter for making this recording and making it available to everyone, and to the presenters. As one who couldn’t make it to Fresno, I’m excited to be able to see this.

Valuable content. It was worth every nickel and every moment.
Kudos again.

The subject matter of the presentation was excellent.

I found the timing of the presentation to be rushed for the allotted time.

Dave was not able to present more of the examples he gathered.

The measurement games in the beginning was entertaining, however, they distracted from the presentation with the limited time.

The overall presentation could be improved by a few more practice runs and making sure there is enough time to cover all of the material.

The subject is an excellent one. Thanks for getting the conversation started.

Now that I have experienced the process I think the taping of programs is a good way to go for the folks that are interested in a topic and cannot make the live presentation. I really didn't know how it would turn out, but I found it watchable.

I am interested in criticisms and compliments equally. Thank you for any comments.

Was there a Q & A element that wasn't taped? That would have been worth sticking around for.

Not being able to see the slides was frustrating, and then when shown they were too blurry to read. Thanks to everyone who was involved and especially Dave and Evan.

I tried to post the slide show, it wouldn't accept the extension .ppsx - I changed the extension and it now has prompted me the file is big.

I will have to create a pdf and post tomorrow.
