Two Independent Locations - One RS?

Post by PLS7393 »

I'm finding record of survey maps with two locations (NOT tied) to one another on one filed map. Even miles apart from one another in the same city.
Is this actually acceptable???

I'm dumb-founded that surveyors are actually doing this, and more so that the County Surveyor is allowing it.

This county does not charge for multiple pages with mapping data, so why not show more than two sites, and file one map with five lots, say six pages???
Asking for a friend that doesn't like to post, lol.

Kieth,

I have seen this too, un-named county...
The 2 sites are far apart with no relation. all the work is all for the same client.

i guess you could have the surveyors statement reference multiple clients...?

it was very hard to find said record map. i had to write down the LS No. and search the County Database to find said map using the "find by surveyor" tab.

A good way to get around fees which will be increasing soon...
