Does anyone have a good recommendation for project tracking software. Can't find a PM and I've got too much work to keep up with! Any idea besides a spreadsheet?
Thanks!

Eric,
Attached is the Best Project Management hardware that I've found and used for over forty years! Never failed me - even when electrical grid was down! LOL
Good news: It takes seconds to fill in the cells and better yet - NO subscription fee!
Have a nice Thanksgiving, all . . .
Yep,

Trust me I've been using that system, but when you're juggling post-processing, waiting on drone data, and making notes on what you need to do to keep the schedule, and what review the CS has, it's get's a little too much to keep up with 3 crews, office folks, and also running the business!

Create your own. I track everything in GIS and ACCESS as I used that to populate the fields. The data base tracks the projects and they are linked to the GIS system. I maintain a running word file to track the project and anything I need it hyperlinked through the word file.

I use https://www.workstraight.com/
Easy to use and you can customize it how you want.
It will cost $70/ month if you want to get the full service plan.

Quickbase is what we use. Its pretty decent. Lets each business customize the GUI as its basically a series of spreadsheets with a GUI, so you can make it work for your workflow, allows for each user to see a different screen with different powers of editing etc based on the users job description, lets time get entered, tracked, reported etc. Notes can be added to projects, or phases, allows exporting the fields easily into contracts/proposals etc. Works well with Quickbooks for billing. Where all the timecard entires are exported with their description, billout rate, hours and date worked.
I would say its only useful if you are getting more than 15ish employees? Its like most systems IE takes a while to set up and get used to, it makes some simple things take more time than they should, but also streamlines many of the typical project management activities. For example it allows some very nifty reports for reviewing profits/loss, whats over budget, creates to do lists and status tracking lists unique for each person based on who is assigned to work on a phase/job, or can make it show the entire company.

Re: Project Management Software
A little late to the party and full disclosure we have land surveying management software called Job Book
If you or anyone is interested happy to show you how it works.
It has project tracking like you want, showing you the status of jobs and what your burn on the jobs are.
