Engineering Technician I - Riverside County Flood Control

The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is seeking an Engineering Technician - Level I, to join the Photogrammetry Team, located in Riverside.

The Engineering Technician - Level I will be relied upon to performing research, create topographic, cross-sectional and profile drawings and maps using manual or computer aided techniques; prepare preliminary construction drawings and tracings from survey notes and other materials; index and file maps, drawings and other engineering records.

While this is an entry level position, competitive applicants will possess knowledge of engineering terminology, previous experience working in a team environment and communicate effectively in fast paced or high pressure environments.

The schedule for this position will be four 10 hour days Monday through Thursdays.

The Engineering Technician I is a natural progression underfill for the Engineering Technician II. Incumbents are eligible to promote to Engineering Technician II upon successful completion of their probationary period, which would include a satisfactory performance evaluation and any additional qualification requirements.
